Help - Auction Notification System
FurEauction has a very unique auction notification system that no other fandom system has. A system that allows FurEauction users to track new items by either seller's name and/or words in the auctions, items for sale, or requests. Users of FurEauction set up their account for what they want and every night FurEauction will look through all new items to see if there is any matches. If there is a simple email message will be sent out to the user.
Using this system people can be notified when items they want go on auction.
For sellers it's another way to get your item seen by buyers. For users of FurEauction it's the best way not to miss your favorite artist and subject matter!
It's another great unique feature of FurEauction.
How To Use
To track a specific seller just follow these simple steps:
- log into FurEauction
- After loggin in from the "Home" page click on the link in the user menu Setup Seller Watch
- After the new page loads in enter the seller's account name into New Seller To Watch field
- Click on "E-Mail You When New Auction Is Created" for that new seller.
- Click on "Update and Add New Watches"
- After the page loads it will show you selection
- Repeat until you have all the sellers you are interested in
To track words in items follow these steps.
- log into FurEauction
- After loggin in from the "Home" page click on the link in the user menu Auction Notification System
- On this screen enter your text word to search on New Word to Watch
Please Note: Wild cards not needed the system will do wild cards for you.
- Select if you want to search by Keyword, Title, or Description. You can select on or you can eve select all 3!
- Once you have the new word you want to search by click on Add/Change Email Word Setup button.
- In a few moments you word will be entered. And you can repeat the process to have up to ten more words to search on!
