Help - Auction and User Policies
These list FurEauction group and user policies. Please note that FurEauction
staff do have the right to change these policies at any time and any
decision by them is final.-
Age - You must be 18 years of age to register and bid on FurEauction.
- Bidding and selling - By bidding on an item you are creating a legal
contract with the seller and agree to pay the bid that you submitted to the
seller when the auction is over. When the auction is over the bidder is
required to buy the item they bid on and the seller is require to sell the
item they are selling. Winning bids are not valid if the auction is not
above the reserve bid. All bids are final and may not be withdrawn. If a bid
is placed in error, e-mail the FurEauction staff with a valid reason and the
bid may be removed at the discretion of the FurEauction staff. If there is a
dispute over the winning bid, it is the seller's responsibility to work it
out. FurEauction is not responsible for any misrepresentation of the buyer
or seller. Fraudulent selling or bidding will result in user being banned
and all information gathered by the system will be turned over to the local
law enforcement authorities and ISP plus any other service used to access
this site.
- Seller bidding on their own auction - Don't do it. Bidding on your own
auction is wrong. If your auction is at the wrong starting bid you can close
the auction if there is no bids are on it.
- Selling items - FurEauction allows the selling of items based on the
anthropomorphic, fantasy, sci-fi, gothic punk(aka white wolf),
therienathrope, transformation communities and if you put something up that
doesn't fall in those categories we won't ban it unless it really doesn't fit the feeling of FurEauction site. But there are a few items
that if they fall plainly in this category the auction will be banned. Those
categories are: Pediphilea, illegal drugs, stolen and other illegal items.
Drawn pictures that might fall into the fringe range of bestiality and other questionable items that is legal in the sellers region must be sold as a private
auction. Also - Human photographics and art that do not have a true "Midevil/SCIFI Fantasy (think dungeon and dragon)" theme, auctions that will be used to pull bandwidth, or is just done to be porn may be taken off at the descretion of the admistrator(s).
Vague selling of items is not permittted. If you are unsure if it should go up on site, e-mail the FurEauction staff and a decision will
be rendered on a case by case bases. When an auction is placed, the item
must fit in the approriate categories. Any auction that does not fit in that
category can be moved, changed, removed, closed early, or deleted and
banned. Name of auctions must not have adult titles. It's easy for a minor
to stumble on an adult title so please keep it clean.

Machine Time - While FurEauction strives to have an accurate clock we do not
warranty the time to be 100% accurate. If a bidder misses a bid because of
the time or other reason, then that's not our fault. If you want an item...
bid early and bid often! ;)
- Copyrighted Items - No seller may sell an item that contains copyrighted
property without the copyright holder's written permission. The only
exception is for items that are being resold (like a used game, used art,
etc).
- Rights of Proptery - Unless otherwise stated - the rights of the property are not SOLD with the item. This includes and distribution electronic and publication. If you are interested in those rights please contact the seller before bidding on the item.
- Adult Material - Adult material may be sold on this site. But adult material
must be clearly marked and place in the approiate category. Failing to do
this will cause the item to removed, deleted, and/or banned. Bidders may bid
on adult material only if they legally able to buy it in their community.
FurEauction is not responsible for the nature of adult auctions or any legal
issues the adult content may bring.

Auction placement - FurEauction prohibits posting of duplicate/deleting and reposting of auctions for higher placement. This is not fair to other people and we hate this practice. Violators will have their accounts banned for this.

Auction On Other Sites - FurEauction staff can cancel an auction/account if we find the duplicate item on another site. Especially if we believe that this could be fraud.
- Auction Site Warranty - While FurEauction admin try to strive to make the
best site, sometimes problems go out of the admin's control. FurEauction
makes no warranty for anything relating to the site and users. Any site
problems that causes losses can not be placed against FurEauction and it's
admins. You do have the right not to use the free service.
- Advertisements - Site Advertisements for competing services are strictly
prohibited and may cause approriate banning
- Seller banning bidders - FurEauction recognizes the right for the seller to
refuse any buyer's bids. The seller may use the ban bidder option that is
provided by the site. If they ban someone the ban is effective after the
time the seller activates the option. Any previous bids are still valid.
This ban will not be reflected on other seller's auctions. FurEauction will
not regulate this option, it is the seller's right.
- Image and Thumbnail Policy - When a image is uploaded to FurEauction you give the right for FurEauction to distribute through the web for use of your auction purposes. For any picture that is displayed for an auction on FurEauction you give the right to FurEauction to modify the picture for the use of creating and displaying a thumbnail.
- Privacy Policy - Privacy policy are listed in a different document, a link
is provided on the bottom of every page.
- Policy Changes - At any time the admins at FurEauction can change the policy
of the site. Please note we will try to inform all users of this change but
can not promise we can contact everyone.
- Policy Violations - When policies are violated it is up to the discretion of
the FurEauction admins to decide what type of punishment is to be imposed.
It may take the form of warning to a banning. Any punishment is decided on a
case by case basis.
- Agreement to term - Users of FurEauction must agree to all terms to use this
site. Using the site signals the agreement of the terms.

Liability - There is none. FurEauction is only a venue. You, the user, bidder, or seller agree to hold
FurEauction free of any liability arising from the use, or inability to use,
this site and all related issues. The only liability there is is covered by
federal, state, and local laws governing the buying and selling of goods
between the bidder and seller ONLY and NOT the FurEauction group. We, the
FurEauction group, reserve the right to restrict any user, bidder, or seller
in any way we see fit.
