FurEauction SECURITY AND PRIVACY POLICY
FurEauction is very concerned about your privacy and security. We strive to
do whatever is possible to keep the privacy and security of the bidder/seller
information as private as an auction site is possible, while giving the user
a great auction experience.
Information Collection and Use
- FurEauction collects personal information when a user creates an account, bid
on an account, or place an item for bid. At no time will FurEauction give
this information to any third party client.
- When registering with FurEauction we ask for your name, email address, etc.
We only use that information for providing the personalized information and
providing the auction service.
- FurEauction aautomatically gets cookies specific to FurEauction, IP address,
and page you requested from the browser. This is no different from any other
web site.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
- FurEauction will not sell or rent any information to anyone.
- FurEauction will use information gather to validate auctions and fraud that might have occured in auctions.
Cookies
- FurEauction will try to set cookies on your computer for keeping track of your computer.
- If you don't allow FurEauction to set cookies on your browser, your site experience may be lessened
- FurEauction will set a temporary session cookie every time you log into the site. This will go away in short time. Optionally FurEauction can set a cookiee on your browser to provide a quick log in. This is an unsecure cookiee and FurEauction is not responsible if someone uses this cookiee to log into your account.
Your ability to Edit and Delete Your Account Information and Preference
- FurEauction allows users to edit of all active information.
- Users can request accounts to be deleted from the FurEauction by emailing the admins.
Auction Information
- All open auctions are publicly avaialable. Any bids' information can be viewed by any person UNLESS the seller choose to hide the bid information.
- Closed auctions are only showed to people who are the bidder, seller, people who kept track of the auction number, or have found the auction through search engine.
- Graphics will be kept for at least 2 weeks after the last auction that uses that graphic has been closed.
- Closed auction information will be kept on the system for about 1 year.
Feedback
- Feedback is publically viewable
- Feedback can only be entered by people who participated in an auction.
- Feedback can only be entered once per auction the person participated.
- Unfair feedback can be stricken if unfairly placed.
Security
- FurEauction will make all efforts to keep your data secure.
- Passwords for accounts on FurEauction are encrypted and can not be extracted by the FurEauction admins. Only randomly passwords are availble for password resets.
